FROM THE CONTROLLED CENTRE TO THE FORGOTTEN EDGES

BRIEF: Create a viewpoint and conceptualise an imagined event to take place in a given art gallery. Create a catalogue for the event. APPROCH: I chose to explore the topic of Soviet transport system design comparing the opulent metro stations of Moscow to the eclectic bus stops of rural areas in ex-Soviet territories. I created two visual voices, one in the capital- loud, strong, dominant and one on the outskirts- quiet, weak, subservient.
